Fields of gold

Published by admin under Developer Plans, News, Opinion, Zone

When you look at the Green Belt fields of East Thurrock all you see and feel is calm and tranquility. Not for developers who are worried that archaeological features may put a stop to their Masterplans. It is alleged that world leading experts have been employed (presumed at considerable expense) from Durham University to carry out a Geophysical survey as shown by photos taken in Corringham this week on Green Belt land near Southend Road and Lampits Hill. This is normally done to identify archaeological features in advance of anticipated development. The Masterplan options for East Thurrock and the road to aquire this Green Belt land by developers is obviously more advanced than the general public are told about or led to believe.

As it is coming up to election day on May 1st, ask your Candidate for their views when they knock on your door for support… do they see “Fields of gold” for property development or “Fields of Green Belt” for East Thurrock to enjoy for generations to come; “once it’s gone, it’s gone”.
